Cam has been working in the turfgrass industry for over 20 years and is an alumnus of the Diploma in Turfgrass Management program at the University of Guelph.  Formerly an Assistant Superintendent, Cam’s experiences were primarily involved with the golf course maintenance sector where he had the opportunity to work at famed club’s such as Jasper Park Lodge Golf Club and TPC Boston.  Cam came to the University of Guelph in 2017 as the Guelph Turfgrass Institute’s (GTI) first full-time Communications and Outreach Coordinator where he expanded the GTI’s knowledge translation and transfer initiatives as well as revamping events such as the annual Research Field Day and coordinating the speaker program for the Ontario Turfgrass Symposium.  In October of 2020, Cam took on the role of Manager of the Diploma in Turfgrass Management program. Honoured to be in his new role, Cam looks forward to leading the DTM program into next chapter of its storied history.
