Dr. Mohsen Yoosefzadeh Najafabadi is one of only five international recipients of the Young Scientist Award during the World Soybean Research Conference 11, which was held in Vienna, Austria, from June 18th to 23rd, 2023.

The conference is held every four years and attracts the bets soybean scientists as well as industry in the world. Mohsen received the award for the poster he presented at the conference and for his many contributions to research in soybean breeding, genetics, phenomics and genomics.

He received his Ph.D. in Dr. Milad Eskandari’s lab and works as a Research Associate in Dr. Istvan Rajcan’s lab.

Among the many accomplishments, in his young career, he has published over 30 peer-reviewed research articles among which nine from his Ph.D. thesis, as well as developed a data preparation and analysis program AllInOne.
