What a fantastic event the Dry Bean Breeding Program hosted yesterday.  The room was packed with people eager to hear about the bean breeding program and their objectives.  Peter Pauls gave a brief overview of the program before we were split into groups to go on a tour of the growth rooms and look at seed samples of recently licenced varieties.

After the tours were finished, we had a chance to gather and socialize with members of the industry and of the research community while tasting delicious bean recipes created by the bean breeding crew!

It was a very well run and informative event.  Thank you to those who were involved in putting it all together.
