Many thanks to the Social Committee for organizing a great Christmas party last Friday at the Brass Taps.

More than 100 people were able to come, including visitors from outside the department. The word is out that we have fun!

Thanks to Clarence Swanton, Jill Selby, Tara Israel, Haewon Kim, Anna Krzwdzinski, and Andrew McKenzie-Gopsill for arranging the meal and the program. It was a great evening - filled with great food, trivia, fabulous door prizes, a DJ that got people on the dance floor and the always anticipated Tomes award. The latter went to the soybean crew for their efforts in harvesting in the snow.

The beautiful Poinsettias in a wide variety of colors were donated by Wayne Brown from the Vineland Research Centre.

The United Way Committee (Abhi Chattopadhyay, Elham Tavakouli Dinani , Sierra Harris, Max Jones, Jen Kingswell, Ann Meyer, Amritpal Singh, Fawn Turner) was also acknowledged for their work in exceeding our goal by almost $3000!
