William Kramer won first place in the MSc competition held at the joint Weed Science of America and Canadian Weed Science Society Annual Conference held February 22 to 24th , 2022.  His presentation was entitled," Impacts of low R/FR light environments on nitrogen assimilation in corn ( Zea mays).  William recently defended his M.Sc. thesis which was under the supervision of Dr. Clarence Swanton.  This research was undertaken thanks in part to funding from the Canada First Research Excellence Fund.
