Launch of SSHRC’s 2019 Impact Awards Competition

Overview:

We are pleased to announce that SSHRC has launched the 2019 Impact Awards competition. Every year, SSHRC invites eligible institutions to nominate their best and brightest researchers and students for an Impact Award. The awards recognize outstanding achievements in research, research training, knowledge mobilization and outreach activities funded partially or completely by SSHRC.

*Please Note: The Office of Graduate & Postdoctoral Studies administers the Talent Award only. To submit a nomination for the Gold Medal, Insight Award, Connection Award, and/or Partnership Award, please refer to the Office of Research’s website.

Talent Award ($50,000) – The internal deadline for Talent Award Nominations is February 18, 2019 to the Graduate Awards Officers in the Office of Graduate & Postdoctoral Studies. Students do NOT apply - this is a nomination process.

At least 10 per cent of the award funds must be used to promote the recipient’s research achievements.
