Mehdi Farid has been selected to receive Canadian Society of Agronomy (CSA) student travel award.  This is the first time the CSA has offered such awards to graduate student opportunities to present at our annual national conference. The applications received (nine in total) were reviewed against the criteria given on the CSA website. The executive committee that conducted the review noted that there were many strong applications in the group.   The 2014 Annual Meetings will be held jointly with the Canadian Society of Horticultural Science, July 10-12th, 2014 in Lethbridge, Alberta
