Robert Bruce and Cora Loucks were awards Ontario Graduate Scholarships for 2014-15. 

OGS awards are merit-based scholarships available to students in all disciplines of academic study. The OGS program is jointly funded by the Province of Ontario and Ontario universities. The Province of Ontario contributes two-thirds of the value of the award and the university provides one-third.

Cora is in the second year of her PhD with Ralph Martin and Bill Deen studying crop production systems. She completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Waterloo studying plant biology. Cora is one of the GSLC reps for the 2014-2015 year.

Robert is working on a Ph.D. with Dr. Istvan Rajcan and was one of the GSLC reps for the 2013-2014 year
