FarmSmart Expo 2013
Overview:
FarmSmart celebrated its 15th year on Thursday July 11th, 2013 during the annual FarmSmart Expo at the University's Elora Research Station. They held events in celebration of "Farmer and Farm Advisor Day" and also hosted a youth program to educate the next generation on smart and sustainable farm development.
Many speakers from the Department of Plant Agriculture participated in this event including: Duane Falk, Hugo Gonzalez, Clarence Swanton and Francois Tardif.

The event was a success providing "progressive farm operators and agribusiness people with leading-edge, hands on diagnostics stations that identify current issues in crop production to help them develop and advance their farm business operations".
FarmSmart holds 2 annual events: a conference in January and the Expo at the Elora Research Station in the summer.
