Dr. Amir Bazrgar is the Statistics Consultant at the Ontario Agricultural College (OAC). He supports all aspects of agricultural research by providing expert statistical consultation in experimental design and data analysis to graduate students, researchers, and faculty across the OAC. His primary areas of expertise include general and generalized linear models, reproducible research, and data management with additional expertise in agro-environmental modelling and agroecology. He is also experienced in teaching graduate-level courses and has strong programming proficiency in R and SAS.

Previously, Dr. Bazrgar conducted pioneering work in life cycle assessment (LCA) for plant production systems during his Ph.D. in Ecological Modeling, where he developed and applied crop and ecological models to explore interactions between environmental factors and cropping systems. He later worked as a Postdoctoral Fellow (2016–2019) and subsequently as an Associate Researcher (2019–2022) at the University of Guelph, focusing on modeling agricultural soil and biomass carbon dynamics and emissions.
